Lowell Milken Institute Lunch and Learn Series for Students

Lunch and Learn Series

The classic law school curriculum teaches legal fundamentals but it cannot teach many of the practical ideas and issues faced by lawyers in everyday practice. To fill the gap, each semester the Lowell Milken Institute sponsors Lunch and Learn Programs aimed primarily at business law students. Students are taught by experienced practitioners who come to campus to make a presentation on a legal concept or technique that is typically not the focus of the classic classroom discussion. Our goal is to introduce students to those business law skills that are essential to professional success but generally not addressed as part of the core curriculum.
