Brian Liu is a UCLA Law School alumnus and co-founder of LegalZoom.com where he has served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors. In 2011 Business Insider ranked LegalZoom.com 27th of the world’s most valuable start-ups. Prior to LegalZoom.com, Mr. Liu was a corporate attorney with the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. During this Lunch and Learn, Mr. Liu drew upon his personal and professional experiences with start-ups to illuminate the many steps and obstacles encountered when bringing a start-up to the IPO stage.
