The Barbra L. Davis Scholarship awards $5,000 to an exceptional first or second-year UCLA law student interested in practicing employment law.
The scholarship was established in 2002 by Paul Hastings LLP to memorialize the distinguished employment law career of the late Barbra Davis and her many years of dedication to her alma mater, UCLA School of Law. Ms. Davis began her career as an English teacher and counselor in Los Angeles schools, but became fascinated with employee relations and decided to make a radical career change by pursuing a law degree. A 1984 graduate, Ms. Davis was a partner of the firm and served as Chair of its Los Angeles office.
Information about the application process will be posted to MyLaw in the spring.
