NBLSC 2025: Travel Information

UCLA School of Law is located on the UCLA campus in the beautiful Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.  Our address is 385 Charles E Young Drive East, Los Angeles, CA 90095.

Travel by Plane— UCLA is about 14 miles from Los Angeles International Airport, the closest airport to UCLA and the one we recommend you use.  The easiest way to get to UCLA from LAX is to take a Lyft or an Uber.  Please note that you will need to take a shuttle bus from the airport terminal to the Lyft/Uber lot just outside the airport.  It is also possible to take the Culver City Bus, but that is both slow and somewhat complicated – see here for instructions.  There are other regional airports (Burbank and Long Beach), but they are considerably further away.  Remember that Los Angeles traffic is often quite congested.  Allow plenty of time, especially if you will be arriving at LAX in the late afternoon or early evening.  We strongly advise against flying into regional airports other than LAX, Burbank, or Long Beach (such as John Wayne Airport or Ontario Airport) as the distances are considerable in traffic.

Driving to UCLA – UCLA is just off the 405 Freeway, between the Wilshire and Sunset exits.  We are about 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 8 miles from the beach.  Here is a Google map.

UCLA Campus Map – The Law School is at G3 on the map.

Parking on Campus – The closest parking lots are P2 (in F5 on the campus map) and P3 (in F1 on the campus map).  There is also very limited parking right by the law school.  Please park in a self-service pay spot.  Do not park in a spot marked as permit parking only (such as Blue, X, or Yellow) or you will be ticketed.  You can find more information on short-term parking fees here.
