April 4, 2017 @ 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

Event Navigation

The Law and Entrepreneurship Association hosted this lunch panel discussion on unique and differing practices in Venture Capital ("VC"). Scott Alderton provided an experienced look into VC, as the founding partner of a firm with a thriving VC and Emerging Growth Practice Group. David Straus provided a practical, non-attorney view as a successful entrepreneur, investor, and Executive Coach. Bradley Libuit disclosed what a day in the life of an associate attorney working on VC deals encompasses in practice. The panel was moderated by Professor Neil Wertlieb, who teaches Lifecycle of a Business and was a longtime BigLaw partner focused on corporate transactions - primarily acquisitions, securities offerings, and restructurings.
