DESCRIPTION:Daniel Sokol  Carolyn Craig Franklin Chair in Law and a Professor of Law and Business  USC Gould School of Law    "Control\, Capture\, and Competition"    Sokol - Control Capture and Competition  The UCLA Business Law Workshop is an interdisciplinary workshop hosted by Professor Andrew Verstein\, attended by students and faculty members. Speakers from other universities will be invited to present working papers contracts\, corporate law\, and other business law subjects. Students will write graded reaction papers. This seminar is particularly well suited for students who wish to see the scholarly process in action.  These visitors will present works-in-progress for 15-25 minutes\, followed by about an hour of Q&amp;A. The Workshop is structured as a seminar.  The UCLA Business Law Workshop is a CLOSED EVENT open only to UCLA School of Law Faculty and Students.
